[caption id="attachment_1139" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Headless Horseman at Conner Prairie - photo from ConnerPrairie.org"][/caption] Several years ago, I worked at Conner Prairie.  I had a really fun job - but being one of the infamous Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow was one of the more memorable I had experiences while working there. Each night, we would hear the rumble of the tracker and wagon as it made its way through the grounds at Conner Prairie. Guests would see spooky scares including skeletons and ghosts during the festively fall hayride. As the tractor got close, I, the Headless Horseman, would run up while riding one of the powerful and versatile Percheron horses up to the wagon to chase it over the covered bridge. Guests would be huddled together to keep warm in the wagon and scream as the Headless Horseman approached. It’s a frightfully-fun evening for the entire family! Headless Horseman is back for it's 26th year of frightful family fun on October 16-17, 21-25 and 28-30, 2009.  Enjoy apple cider, ghost stories, a hayride and cool autumn air.  Also, if you buy presale tickets at Marsh and O'Malia's locations and save $2. -Ashley Ledford, guest blogger
