Dec 29, 2009 by Hamilton County CVB

The holiday season is a common time of year when many lucky couples celebrate their relationship with an engagement.  As someone who planned her own Hamilton County, Indiana wedding a few years ago, I know the process can be overwhelming because you want to be creative, fun, happy - all within a budget.  Below are a few of Hamilton County’s well-known and unique ceremony and reception locations that are perfect for your special day!* Well known: Ritz Charles – Ritz Charles is a beautiful location filled with elegant ballrooms perfect for a wedding of any size.  The on site chapel, allows you to have your ceremony and reception in one convenient location.  Also, if you want an outdoor feel no matter what the weather, check out the Garden Pavilion.  This glass-lined spot is ideal for a one-of-a-kind wedding. Fountains Banquet & Conference Center – Dazzle, cherish and impress when you host your reception in the beautiful facility. Sit back and relax as the Fountains staff takes care of your every wedding whim. Fishers Conference Center – Conveniently located in the middle of several quality hotels is the Fishers Conference Center – making for a safe stroll back to a room for the night instead of a drive home.  Work with their expert chef on what to serve your guests, then turn up the music and toast to your new life! Palomino Ballroom - A leisurely drive to Northern Hamilton County will take your guests to a gorgeous ballroom - which offers divine food, pretty views and a great staff ready to make your dream wedding a reality. Indiana’s Premier Golf – Golf courses are known for their gorgeous views – so why not use that view as the backdrop to your wedding pictures?  Whether you want a more traditional wedding location, a more rustic option or a simple green view, the golf courses of Hamilton County can accommodate your needs for an unforgettable day. Forest Park – This large park is full of flowers, trees, trails and laughing children.  Here, your ceremony can be set amongst tall purple flowers and green grass.  Cherish photos of you and your groom riding the Carousel, and encourage friends and family to play a round of miniature golf. For smaller parties, host your reception at Forest Park Inn. Coxhall Gardens – For an outdoors wedding (tent rental is available- just in case) in an unforgettable place, visit Coxhall Gardens.  With the large amphitheater, ponds, fountains and, coming soon, a tulip garden, you will walk down the aisle in a classy, yet unique, way.
