I like seeing my kids faces when they see the video I made for them from Santa telling them to be good!

As a kid, my parents took me along to deliver food baskets to folks in need. It felt good to give, but what we received from one family made me realize gifts didn't have to come in boxes. The grandfather, who lived with his extended fam in govt housing, sang us the most beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace I'll probably ever hear.

Taking our kids to Christmas at the Zoo! They do such a great job of decking out the zoo in lights and decorations. The kids get such a kick out of going at night and seeing everything all lit up!

I have so many favorites from the holidays...but I have two that rank high up there.
One is taking my son (and now both of my sons) to the Christmas at the Zoo - where they can visit Santa and take a train ride, and get hot chocolate and Christmas popcorn.
My other favorite holiday tradition is buying presents for families who need assistance. We've taken children from the giving tree at church, and this year we did something new: we are sponsoring a whole family - and throwing a holiday party where all of our friends and family bring presents for the family!

We have a 16-month old, so my favorite thing about the upcoming holiday season is to experience it through his eyes and to start some new traditions with our little family.

My family has a tradition that dates back before I was even born, but we continue it to this day: STINKY CHEESE DAY!! It is held the Saturday before Christmas, and is a day where we can gather without worrying about getting dressed up, or making a big meal or exchanging gifts. The food is the best part, imagine an italian feast... hunks of stinky fresh cheeses, loaves of warm crusty bread, garlicky sausages and salamis, and lots and LOTS of wine! We play Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin cd's and de-stress before the hopla of Christmas day hits.

I love seeing family that visits from out of town. Lights are my afavorite though, everytime I see some it brings back the feelings I had as a child. Happy Holidays!

This is such a great promotion for all of our businesses! We have had several people from Cincinnati and the surrounding area come in with their gift cards. Thank you so much for your marketing efforts....we have really seen results! Happy Thanksgiving!

One of my favorite things to do every holiday season is to go downtown to the "Circle of Lights" and see the decorations and store windows. One of my earliest memories as a child was sitting up in the back seat of my dad's 1972 Chevy Malibu touring downtown Indy in the snow.

I love spending time with family over the holidays- the annual traditions give us a chance to slow down and visit with one another.

My favorite thing about the Holidays is taking my son to the Childrens Museum for the holiday exhibit, sit on Santa's lap, and a race down the Yule-slide!
