Believe it or not, Mother’s Day is just around the corner. Last weekend, we stopped in downtown Noblesville to see what the must-have items are for Mother’s Day 2011. If your mom is trendy, traditional, fun, cool or some combination, you can find something for her at one of our Hamilton County, Indiana, boutiques and stores. [caption id="attachment_3445" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Shopping in downtown Noblesville, Indiana"][/caption] Here are few of our weekend finds: At A Corner Cottage, we found cool bracelets made from typewriter keys, watch parts and other interesting pieces. If rings and pins are more of your mom’s style, let the kids pick up out a piece of alphabet jewelry. Or maybe two. Pieces start at $6 each! If your mom enjoys antiques, how about one of the tea cup and saucer sets with recipe cards included and beautiful hand linens at Old Picket Fence? This store has a great eclectic mix of antique, vintage and new items.  We were drawn into Eleanor Rozellas by the large collection of Vera Bradley bags in the front of the store. But we found much, much more inside. More purses. More jewelry. More unique items. We really liked Switch Flops. You buy the base of the shoe, and then you can purchase different straps and accessories to decorate the shoe. Mom can change her style from sassy to dressy with a few snaps. Other finds: Tyler candles, recyclable bags and a line of jewelry called Magnabilities. They have 40 different vendors at Logan Village Mall, so you can find everything from handmade soaps to pottery, home décor and vintage clothes.  Plus, this is the kind of place where you’ll find a gift for mom and probably pick up a few things for yourself.
