Tourism Development

Tourism product development plays an integral role in the Hamilton County Convention and Visitors Bureau's destination management program.  Because great places to live are also great places to visit, the Hamilton County's tourism efforts strive to ensure the tourism programs it supports not only make sense for the visitor, but also the community.  Through a wide variety of programs, the Hamilton County CVB aims to be a key partner in providing support to the community, including:

  • working daily with Hamilton County's eight cities and towns, as well as county government to support a broad vision for the future
  • providing research and feasibility studies
  • leveraging investments for matching grant funds
  • providing grant writing support
  • providing technical expertise, especially in heritage, arts and cultural tourism development
  • supporting community through a variety of marketing and development grant or cooperative programs
  • serving on regional and statewide boards that support sustainable tourism development
