  • Overview

Housed at the Center for the Performing Arts, the Great American Songbook Foundation was founded in 2007 by Grammy-nominated performer and preservationist Michael Feinstein to inspire and educate by celebrating the timeless musical standards of pop, jazz, Broadway and Hollywood.

The Songbook Exhibit Gallery on the Gallery Level of the Palladium features rotating installations of images, artifacts and other items from the Foundation's vast Songbook Archives & Library, commemorating the composers, lyricists, arrangers, performers and other artists who contributed so much to our nation's rich cultural legacy. The Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and one hour prior to select concerts at the Palladium. Admission is free.

The Foundation is a Cultural Affiliate of the Los Angeles-based Grammy Museum®. More information is available at TheSongbook.org.
