NOBLESVILLE, Ind. - Ailithir McGill has been named the new Executive Director for the Nickel Plate Arts initiative.
McGill was formerly Director of Operations at Conner Prairie Interactive History Park, where she served in a variety of roles since 2001. McGill has an undergraduate degree in Museums and Museum Management from Earlham College and a graduate degree in Museum Studies from IUPUI.
She has also performed improvisational comedy for nearly a decade in downtown Indianapolis and McGill can often be found walking her dog through Noblesville.
"I'm excited about putting together fun and quirky arts events that people from Hamilton County and beyond will find different and entertaining," says McGill.
"Aili will take the next steps in making the Nickel Plate Arts initiative a regional tourism destination and a great place for people to gather, unplug and create," says Brenda Myers, Executive Director of the Hamilton County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Nickel Plate Arts is an umbrella organization that creates and coordinates arts and cultural experiences across Hamilton County communities to improve the quality of life for residents, strengthen local economies and enrich experiences for visitors.
