Nickel Plate Arts Weekend Volunteers Needed
Carmel, IN- The Nickel Plate Arts needs volunteers for the Nickel Plate Arts Weekend, June 1-3.
The Nickel Plate Arts Weekend is a multi-community art event that stretches from Fishers to Tipton. Volunteers will be stationed at one of 16 hand-painted artistic umbrellas placed along the trail at different arts venues. Volunteers may answer questions about the weekend; direct visitors to other destinations or those with art experience may be helping with an interactive art activity.
The art activities range from painting large canvases, to creating zip-tie sculptures and a yarn installation. General volunteers are also needed to help with set up and tear down of exhibits at various locations. Volunteer shifts are generally two to three hours long and all volunteers receive an event t-shirt. Volunteers are needed at various times beginning Friday, June 1 at 8:30 a.m. through Sunday June 3 at 4:30 p.m.
