Handcrafted With History: Mercantile 37 in Northern Hamilton County

Since opening in fall 2018, Mercantile 37 has established itself as a must-see destination in northern Hamilton County. Locals remember this historic building as a truck stop and Wheeler’s Restaurant in the 1970s – a place for travelers and those passing through on State Road 37. Now, the building is home to a showroom filled with locally-made products from more than 50 Hoosier makers and a café/market appropriately named Wheeler’s Cafe as tribute to the building’s past life.…
