Hamilton County, Indiana plays host to several awesome music venues but nothing beats the beautiful outdoor amphitheater at Conner Prairie, host of the Kroger Symphony on the Prairie series. The summer weekends are packed with an awesome lineup of Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and guest performances. This year marks the 35th anniversary of this delightful gathering of music, friends and food.

BOOM! Ooooh! Aaaahhhh! When I think "America" I think parades with tractors, corn on the cob dipped in butter, browsing handmade goods at festivals and lots of beautiful fireworks. Thankfully, Hamilton County has you covered on July 4th festivities no matter what type of celebration you want to have.

Conner Prairie is one of the top attractions in Hamilton County for good reason. I have been a Hamilton County resident for almost two years and have visited Conner Prairie approximately 70 times. My biggest reason to advocate for Conner Prairie is that there's something special for every type of person.

Winters in the Midwest (usually) require lots of indoor activities for our children. Although this year has been exceptionally mild, it has been so muddy there isn't much opportunity to play outside. That's where I come in. We have lived in Hamilton County for a year and a half and have yet to visit all the cool indoor places HC has to offer because there are so many. Combating cabin fever in Hamilton County is super easy.

Calling all art enthusiasts! Indianapolis is rich in art and culture between Mass Ave, Fountain Square and White River, but don't forget about Hamilton County. People travel from afar to immerse themselves in Hoosier arts around Carmel, Noblesville and beyond, and the art scene is only growing larger.
