If you are already planning a weekend getaway to Hamilton Countyâ€™s 8 Great Towns or want to take a last minute Indiana vacation, here are 8 Great Things to do in Hamilton County, Indiana this weekend. This Friday and Saturday, Lee Ann Womack, who turned that phrase into a song that instantly gets stuck in our heads, makes her â€œprairieâ€? preview at Symphony on the Prairie. Cost: $22 for adults; $11 for children in advance or $27 for adults and $13 for children at the gate. 2. Bring the little ones â€“ and the big kids too â€“ to see a big rig, a police car and a mobile chemistry lab at the Things-That-Go-Rodeo at Carmel Clay Library, Saturday, August 27, 10 a.m. to noon. 3. Head to Tipton, Indiana, on the Pizza PLUS Express. Board in Fishers, Saturday at 5:30 p.m., and enjoy dinner at one of four Tipton restaurants before you head back to the station. Reservations required at least 72 hours in advance. 4. Re-discover the music of Chely Wright, a country music singer in the midst of an artistic transformation, Saturday at 8 p.m. in the new Studio at the Center for the Performing Arts. 5. Before the seasons change, take a summer tour of the Historic Ambassador House and Heritage Gardens in Fishers, Indiana. Free 30-minute guided tours on Sunday, August 28 1 to 3 p.m. 6. Clean out your closets and find out if you have a hidden treasure. At the Carmel Clay Historical Society Antique Appraisal Event, Sunday at 2 p.m. at Carmel Christian Church, local antique dealer Peg Durrer will provide history and general value information about your item for a small fee per item. 7. Bring your lawns chairs and blankets to Seminary Park in Noblesville, Indiana, Sunday at 6:30 p.m. for a free concert by the 38th Division Army Band. 8. See antique wedding gowns from the 1860s to 1920s in the parlor at The Old Jail and Sherriffâ€™s Residence also in Noblesville.
