The cheer is already here in Hamilton County! This weekend enjoy holiday light displays, meet Santa, pick the perfect Christmas tree, and of course grab gifts. Read on for ideas for your weekend and use our holiday must-do list for even more festive fun!

1. It's time to gather the family for a trip to Stonycreek Farm's Country Christmas to select a real Christmas tree! You can take a hayride to their field to cut your own tree, or select one from the freshly cut ones. Before heading home to trim the tree, treat the family to hot chocolate from Noble Coffee & Tea.

2. See beautiful holiday lights through out Hamilton County this season. Fishers will hold their tree lighting this evening and Westfield will hold its annual Westfield in Lights on Friday. Both displays will remain up for viewing all season long! Also don't miss the 20th annual light display at Reynolds Farm Equipment in Fishers- it's a family favorite!

3. Head to northern Hamilton County for Cicero's Christmas Parade this Saturday. This fun event will have everything from a Santa's Helper store to holiday crafts for the kids.

4. Explore Central Park in Carmel this Saturday as it is lit with over 1,000 luminaries for the Luminary Walk. The candles will bring a beautiful glow to the already naturally beautiful park! Sip hot chocolate as you stroll on the boardwalk and on the paths through the 161-acre park with family and friends.

5. Head to the Noblesville square and visit Santa's House! Bring the kiddos so they can tell jolly St. Nick in person what they'd like for Christmas. There's no charge to stop in his house for a visit and hot chocolate will also be available on select days!

6. Head to Carmel on Saturday morning for breakfast and a trip to the market. Start your day with an order of Bub Holes at Bub's Café. The baseball-sized donut holes will give you energy to head down the Monon Trail to Carmel City Center for the indoor Winter Market. There you'll find about 20 vendors from the Carmel Farmers Market selling everything from chocolates to spices.

7. See a theater production with family or friends- there are over four events to choose from this weekend alone! Choose from non-traditional events like the Great American Songbook Movie Series or fun holiday productions like "Farndale Avenue Christmas Carol". Also enter to WIN tickets in our blog contest!

8. Enjoy an exhibit of holiday miniatures at the Museum of Miniature Houses and Other Collections. The holiday miniatures exhibit will be on display for the month of December only, don't miss it!
