‘Tis the season for holiday events and activities. Conner Prairie’s popular festival, A Merry Prairie Holiday, is back for its second year in 2020. This event in Fishers, Indiana is perfect for families. Read below to find information on dates, hours of operation, pricing and safety precautions for 2020.
2020 Dates, Hours and Pricing
A Merry Prairie Holiday at Conner Prairie is Nov. 27-29, Dec. 4-6, 11-13, 18-20, 22 and 23. The event is open 5:30-9:30 p.m., Friday through Sunday.
Advanced tickets are required. The cost for admission is $20 for guests ages 2 and older and $10 for members ages 2 and older.
COVID-19 Safety Precautions
Similar to Headless Horseman, masks are mandatory for all staff and guests in all areas. Masks may be removed while eating or drinking.
Advanced tickets are required. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the gate. This allows for shorter lines, fewer crowds and a smoother entry experience.
A Merry Prairie Holiday Activities
Admission to the event includes a number of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Notably, guests can see the local favorite Reynolds’ Christmas Lights display. There is also gift making with Santa’s elves in the North Pole workshop, the Polar Bear Plunge dry tubing hill, rides on Kringle’s Carousel, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, live music at Blitzen’s Bandstand, the Reindeer Games midway and holiday food and drink.
Roam to 1836 Prairietown for historic holiday experiences, including the Conner Prairie by Candlelight programming.
Tips for a Great Experience
Be sure to purchase your tickets in advance. Have them pulled up on your phone, ready to scan for a quicker entrance to the festival.
Remember to bring your face mask and wear it at all times.
In 2020, A Merry Prairie Holiday is a walking experience only. There will not be wagon rides. Dress for the weather and be prepared to walk around the outdoor grounds. Guests can warm up by the fire pits throughout the event.
