There are three ways you can put an outdoor movie night in Hamilton County, Indiana, on your family calendar. Fishers Parks and Recreation is hosting a movie each Friday night through September 23. This Friday, bring the kids out to see Toy Story 3 at Fishers Heritage Park. On September 2 and 16, enjoy a double feature night. Take in a family-friendly movie like How to Train Your Dragon (PG) and/or a date night option like Inception (PG-13). Locations vary, so check here for the complete schedule. Movies in the Park kicks off on September 9 at Cool Creek Park in Carmel, Indiana. Johnny Depp fans will enjoy this year's features: The season kicks off with Rango (an animated film in which Depp lends his vocal talents, rated PG), and Depp returns in Alice in Wonderland (PG) on September 16. The Movies in the Park Series in Noblesville, Indiana, includes Iron Man 2 on September 10 at Dillon Park. On October 7 in downtown Noblesville, enjoy the kids-classic Goonies as part of October's First Friday festivities. Prior to the movie, you can see the videos submitted for the "I Heart Noblesville" video contest. No matter the location, all movies start at dusk. Bring your snacks, chairs and blankets and enjoy free movies under the stars. (photo courtesy of
