Fall is always a great time for fun in Hamilton County, Indiana. There is a festival or special event pretty much every weekend this fall! I've compiled a list of events that I'm very excited for, but you don't see something that floats your boat, there are many more options on Hamilton County calendar of events.

Festival of Machines
September 12-13
Conner Prairie, Fishers
My science-loving little cousins dig this gear head festival that explores the history and workings of machines of all kinds.

Carmel Porchfest

Carmel Porchfest
September 13
Carmel Arts & Design District
Imagine a Sunday afternoon filled with mellow music in an intimate setting and friends and you have the Porchfest. Musicians literally set up and play on porches of homes in the District as you chill and enjoy the tunes and food.

St. George Festival
September 18-19
St. George Orthodox Church, Fishers
Middle Eastern food? Count me in! Get a fun lesson in Middle Eastern traditions, music and dancing too.

Harvest Festival at Blackhawk Winery
September 19
Blackhawk Winery, Sheridan
Reds, whites and roses, what could be better? Celebrate the fall grape harvest in style with tastings and music.

18th Annual Carmel International Arts Festival
September 26-27
Carmel Arts & Design District
One of my favorite festivals- lots of gorgeous affordable art and many international foods.

Atlanta New Earth Festival
September 26-27
Downtown Atlanta
A must for bargain and vintage shoppers. This festival brings over 600 vendors to the streets of Atlanta each year.

Stonycreek Farm's 43rd Annual Pumpkin Harvest Festival
September 26- October 31
Stonycreek Farm, Noblesville
This is what fall is all about! Pick the perfect pumpkin, take a hayride and more.

Potter's Bridge Fall Fest

Potter's Bridge Fall Festival
October 3
Potter's Bridge Park, Noblesville
Hamilton County's only remaining covered bridge transforms into a festival of fall fun.

Grand Junction Derby & Street Festival
October 3
Downtown Westfield
On your mark, get set, roll! Gravity powered homemade derby cars race down the streets of Westfield for this wacky fest.

Fishers Renaissance Faire
October 3-4
Klipsch Music Center, Noblesville
Here ye, here ye. The Ren Faire is conquering new lands with a move to Klipsch Music Center this year. You won't want to miss the Elizabethan characters, jousting and giant turkey legs.

Headless Horseman near bridge

Headless Horseman
October 9-25
Conner Prairie, Fishers
Since a kid, this festival has marked the beginning of the Halloween season for me. The Headless Horseman himself spooks all on a haunted hayride, plus the town of "Conner Scarie" will have ghastly fun for all ages.

Boo Bash
October 23
Nickel Plate District, Fishers
Start preparing your costumes now. Boo Bash is back at the Fishers Amp to provide a festive venue for trick-or-treating kiddos.
