Regarded as the area’s most awarded golf course, Prairie View Golf Club sits nestled along the west shore of the White River in Carmel, Indiana. As the only course in the state designed by famous course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr., Prairie View blends perfectly into its surrounding nature to create a challenging but unique playing experience. Criss-crossing through meandering streams, wetlands, rolling prairies and towering Oaks, the 206-acre course gives 18 holes of some of the best scenery in the county.
At a par-72, Prairie View has tees ranging from 5,203 yards to 7,073 yards, allowing for many different levels of golfers to be able to play the course. Each tee box is specially placed to fit the appropriate distance and there are different levels of hazards from each box relative to the level of difficulty and distance the tee box sits from the greens. Five total lakes, tall prairie grass and 90 sand bunkers give a good balance between beautiful scenery and challenging landscape for course play.
For those looking to improve their game, Prairie View is also home to the Golf School of Indiana, recognized as one of the state’s premier golf academies by PGA Indiana. Stop by for guided lessons or hit the range on your own to get ready to crush your round!
Need a bite to eat while at the course? Stop at Big Lug on the Prairie, the golf club’s on-site restaurant located right in the clubhouse. Get lost in the pro-shop looking for your next golf outfit or host your dream event in Sahm’s at Prairie View- a bridal, corporate and social venue located right at the clubhouse.
