Their weekend offerings include national acts to local professional musicians from the world of country, bluegrass, jazz, blues, and swing. Located in Arcadia, Indiana, the Hedgehog is a little off the beaten path but the performances are worth the drive. If you haven’t been to this venue before, here are two upcoming opportunities to check it out:
  1. This Saturday, October 29, is Costume Night, and the Hedgehog will have an open mic and jam. All musicians are welcome, and it’s free if you wear a costume.
  2. The 5-year Hedgehog Anniversary Show is next Saturday, November 5.  To celebrate, they are hosting a tribute to Les Paul & Mary Ford, known for #1 hits “How High the Moon and “Vaya Con Dios. Guitar enthusiasts know Les Paul as one of the pioneers who developed the solid-body electric guitar, ushering in the sounds of rock ‘n roll.  Tom and Sandy Doyle will be the featured performers at the November 5 tribute. Tom worked as Paul’s sound man and knows the distinct Les Paul sound.
We’re giving away two tickets ($40 value) to Les Paul & Mary Ford Tribute show on November 5. To win the tickets to this special performance, tell us about the best Hamilton County concert you attended this year. Good luck!
