17 people received 2009 Lt. Governor's Hoosier Hospitality Award for their outstanding service in tourism-related jobs at hotels, restaurants and attractions. These recipients were honored during a ceremony Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Indiana State House. More than 257,000 jobs in Indiana are supported by $10 billion in visitors spending each year. Hamilton County winners were Ed & Judy Craig who have been volunteering at Conner Prairie for 12 years. The Craigs were nominated because of their hard work and dedication. They are willing to do anything from greet motorcoach groups to work out on the Prairie. When asked about volunteering her time to Conner Prairie, Judy responded, "It provides the three essentials of happiness for us: something to do, something to love and something to hope for." Ed was quick to add, "And it gives us something to do together." Congrats to Ed & Judy Craig!
