Fall is hands down the favorite season in our home - we love the changing leaves, the cool air, football and, of course, apple picking! As a little girl, I can remember going with my mom to the Conner Prairie Apple Store gobble up caramel apples on a nice fall day - a memory so fun I wanted to recreate it with my kids every year (and I am always looking for any reason for candy apples). So whether we are in the mood to hand pick our oChris at Stuckey Farmswn apples or we would like to buy them already dripping in caramel, we have so many options right here in Hamilton County, Indiana.

Stuckey Farm
Stuckey Farm in Sheridan is a working apple orchard and farm that welcomes visitors every year. Escape to the quiet farm, where guests can pick 27 different varieties of apples from 4,000 trees, take a free wagon ride through the beautiful orchard, watch the owners press cider, relax in the covered picnic area, or browse through the Country Market full of in-season Indiana produce.

Stuckey also has a 15-acre pumpkins patch. Our family makes sure to visit every yea so we can stroll through the orchard, eat delicious treats, and leave with a car full of goodies.

Open Monday-Friday 9:00-6:00 and Saturday 9:00-5:00, July through Thanksgiving Day.

Gatewood Farm
Open Monday- Satuday 8-7 and Sundays 9-5, Gatewood Farm in Nobleville is a cool local farm market that is open year round. Each season brings in new delicious produce and flowers, and every fall we stop by Gatewood for mums, apples, cider, pumpkins & more.
