Here's a little about what Judy from our office did this past weekend:

This past weekend was a fun filled weekend spent in Hamilton County and I spent very little money. I started off by working the Nickel Plate Arts booth at the Hamilton County 4-H fair in Noblesville. It was a very nice afternoon with a great breeze that was coming into the tent which made working very enjoyable. Not much traffic in the tent that afternoon but I still enjoyed talking about the Judge Stone House and the classes that were taking place there.

That evening I went to the concert at Cool Creek Park (last one of the season) and enjoyed hearing Zana Doo. This group knows how to get the people of all ages up and dancing. Before the concert started, Amanda Smith from Hamilton County Parks and Recreation was walking around through the crowd with a large turtle in a wagon showing all the young people. The younger children and even us adults enjoyed seeing and hearing about it. Great way to get the families back to Cool Creek Park and their Nature Center.

Saturday late afternoon I went back to the Hamilton County 4-H fair and walked around, enjoyed seeing the different exhibits and took in some of the judging of the horses and their riders. I must say we have some very gifted young people in Hamilton County. At 7pm we saw in the Wright Bros. Trio which was great way to spend the evening. At 10pm the fair was ending for the day and as we walked back to our car we noticed several young people spending the night in the barns with their animals. What a great way to see another side of Hamilton County!
