I think I just had one of the best tenderloins I have ever tasted! This past Tenderloin Tuesday, I went to Dooley O'Toole's for lunch. I requested my tenderloin without a bun (still gotta watch my figure during these Tenderloin Tuesdays!) and it almost covered my whole plate. The breaded tenderloin wasn't greasy, and the breading wasn't too light or heavy it was absolutely perfect. The owner of this local Carmel restaurant stopped to chat with my table and he told us about the yummy homemade soups he puts together he has about 90 different kinds of soups he can make! The soup special was Roasted Bell Pepper, which I had to sample it tasted juts like stuffed peppers and was mmm, mmm good! Besides being served a perfectly cooked meal, another bonus is that all of Dooley's meats come from Joe's Meat Market in Carmel so they are very fresh. Right now on Tenderloin Tuesdays (each Tuesday through August 10!) you can get a breaded tenderloin and chips for $5.95. What a deal! Don't forget - anyone who visits any Hamilton County restaurant and tells us about it will receive a ChowTown shirt AND will be entered to win a foodie getaway giveaway (last drawing is August 11).
