Every week this winter, we have highlighted one of our Hamilton County, Indiana, restaurants. Today is the first day of spring, so our blog series is coming to an end. Our last Restaurant of the Week is The Hamilton in Noblesville, Indiana.
Chef owned, The Hamilton understandably focuses on its food. And there are a number of good dishes to chose from. They specialize in familiar foods, done well. With steaks, scallops, salmon, ravioli, lamb and chicken, there is something on the menu for every taste. If we have to chose, we recommend the Chicken Oscar, a grilled chicken breast topped with crab meat, asparagus and bearaise sauch. The restaurant serves it with mashed potatoes and julienned vegetables. It is a hearty and filling meal. Another great dish is the Bacon Wrapped Pork Loin. The glaze is smoky and sweet and the side of sweet potatoes is a great complement to the meat. The Hamilton is open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. It opes for dinner at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays through Saturdays. The last dinner seating is at 8:30 p.m. The Hamilton is located a block off the Historic Downtown Noblesville Square so, if you overindulge, you can take a leisurely walk after dinner.
