Ethiopia is one of the top ten exporters of coffee, and traditional coffee ceremonies are spiritual events where coffee is served for healing, relaxation and reflection.

What to order: Ethiopian coffee like the Djimma (Mother of All Coffee), an exotic and bold coffee with notes of blueberry, dark chocolate and brown sugar using Arabica beans.

MammaMia Gelato

Sister business to Ristorante Roma, MammaMia Gelato makes authentic Italian gelato in-house. But, they also serve caffeinated beverages using Umbria Coffee.

What to order: the Affogatto, made with one scoop of homemade gelato drowned in a shot of espresso. Or, the Italian Hot Chocolate – a thick, creamy, decadent hot cocoa, halfway between a drink and a spoon dessert.

Tina's Traditional Old English Kitchen

Owner Tina Jesson hails from England and has brought high tea, coronation chicken salad sandwiches and more British delicacies stateside to her location in Carmel.

What to order: Buckingham Palace Garden Party, a blend of jasmine green and earl grey tea created for the Queen’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace each year.

They say “coffee changes lives” at this Fishers coffee shop because a portion of the proceeds help build clean water wells in third-world countries.
