This past Saturday night, a group of my friends headed to Historic Noblesville Square for their annual "Street Dance" and we had SO much fun!
This event is pretty self explanatory; the streets are shut down and residents and visitors (10,000+) gather together for a full day of dancing (not to mention food, shopping, music). The day began with rain, thunder and lightening - but then things cleared up and it was a beautiful evening. Lucky for us it was in the low 80's, with a soft breeze and a pretty sunset, which made dancing in the streets even better.
The men in our group couldn't get over some of the cool cars in the car exhibit, and the smells of the food vendors had us gals struggling to decide what to eat next? The whole group laughed as we watched the craziness of the ice cream eating contest (not a clean contest). After the ice cream was mopped from the floor, one of my favorite bands, The Wright Brothers took to the stage and got the crowd on their feet. I am already looking forward to next years Street Dance!
