This past Tuesday, I decided to make a stop along the Tenderloin Trail (I plan to spend the next seven Tuesdays visiting different restaurants on the Trail) My first stop was the Great American Grill at the Hilton Garden Inn in Carmel.  I decided to stop here first because I overheard that the wait staff had on Tenderloin T-Shirts – and I wanted to see what they had to offer! I arrived about 5:30 p.m. and told the waitress I was there for Tenderloin Tuesday.  I ordered my grilled tenderloin sandwich and the fresh fruit cup (have to keep it a LITTLE healthy!).  The fruit cup was so good- big chunks of fresh pineapple, cantaloupe and honeydew.  On Tuesdays (June 22-August 10), guests also receive a free house salad when ordering the tenderloin.  The tenderloin arrived and was picture perfect. Served on a fresh buttery toasted bun with lettuce, tomato and mayo on the side.  The sandwich was not too big, was very tender and nicely seasoned.  If my next experience is as good as this one I will certainly enjoy my journey along the Tenderloin Trail! Visitor Tip: I encourage people who try the Tenderloin Trail – or any local dining option in the County - to please send us your thoughts (photos are also welcome) on their experiences (http://8greattowns.com/component/option,com_facileforms/Itemid,199/).  Those who share their story will receive a t-shirt and will be entered in to win a ChowTown Getaway Giveaway! -Judy Erner, Community and Events Manager
