As we have previously mentioned, we have Visitor Centers in Carmel, Noblesville & Fishers. These centers are staffed by great Hamilton County and Central Indiana residents who offer advice, ideas, trip suggestions, directions, brochures and a broad knowledge about the county. We recently asked them what they would do as a Hamilton County visitor - over the next few weeks, I will be sharing their thoughts on the blog. Enjoy!

From Visitor Center Employee, "K.S.": Waking up in Hamilton County as a visitor I would first gain my energy by eating a home cooked breakfast down on the Square in Noblesville at the News Cafe. At this small breakfast joint I would enjoy the atmosphere where I could see my breakfast being made just over the bar. Leaving the Cafe with little damage to my wallet I would have extra cash to browse the stores on the square. I could stop at the shops for a cute top or stop in the Artist Center to paint my own pottery. Since I love the great outdoors I would go canoeing down the White River for the early afternoon. After enjoying the view I had to urge to hit some balls at Forest Park where golfing is delightful with the cool shade of the trees. Hitting the last hole I decided I wanted to venture out of Noblesville and head to Cicero where I could cool off from golfing and enjoy the beach at Morse Lake. Reaching lunch time I would eat at Wolfies right on the lake and order the hamburger. Wanting to relax in the evening I would a play at the Belfry Theatre which is held in an old church. If the play ends early enough, I would finish my evening at Conner Prairie Interactive History Park. **For more Hamilton County, Indiana trip ideas, visit us online at 8GreatTowns.com.
