The annual Cuisine Connect Culture in Westfield, held Saturday, September 21, is a dynamic event celebrating diverse culinary traditions and cultural experiences. Hosted at the Grand Junction Plaza, this festival offers a rich array of activities including cooking demonstrations, food tastings and cultural performances. Attendees can explore a variety of international cuisines through food stalls and specialty dishes prepared by local chefs. The event also features live entertainment, such as music and dance performances, highlighting different cultural heritages. With interactive workshops and opportunities to engage with local and global cultures, Cuisine Culture Connect aims to foster community connections and broaden participants' culinary and cultural horizons.
"Our goal is for attendees to leave with a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity and a sense of connection to the global community," stated Quanbo Xiong, Ph.D., President of the Indianapolis Chinese Community Center. "We believe that events like this in Hamilton will help Hoosiers to build bridges between different cultures and promote mutual respect and understanding that is critical in our society especially during this challenging time."
