Noblesville Interdisciplinary Creativity Expo (NICE) project, in its 7th year, is an annual project based upon our love of classic literature. Each year, the project offers four books and four standalone passages, one from each book, for discussion, analysis, introspection, and ultimately creative inspiration. 2021's book selections are: Sula (1973) by Toni Morrison, The Yellow Wallpaper (1892; short story) by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, A Wrinkle in Time (1962) by Madeleine L’Engle, and Tarzan of the Apes (1912) by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Our behind the scenes podcast discussions, workshops, and the books & passages themselves inspire creatives of all kinds to come up with new pieces in any medium or genre of the Arts, and we look forward every year to sharing those creations with the public. Writers, artists, musicians ~ creatives of all kinds ~ are encouraged to submit their inspired creations to us by September 23, and are welcome to present their pieces in our September 30 presentations event. Join us for our presentations event to see all the inspired works presented by their creators in our 2021 NICE project's presentations event!
