  • Overview

The brainchild of author Sarah E. Morin and artist/author Alys Caviness-Gober, NICE is an annual literature-based project that includes workshops and presentations. NICE offers the opportunity to discuss and be (re)inspired by four classic literary passages selected by Alys and Sarah E. each year. Our 2020 literary selections will be announced later in the year.

NICE breathes new life into the classics by encouraging people, high-school age and up, to discuss the works selected, and encourages critical thinking and experimenting with creativity. Participants at our workshops are encouraged to create new artwork, writings, and music/songs inspired by the four selected passages and our creative discussions. Whether or not you attend a workshop, your inspired creations may be submitted for the presentation event in the Fall: November 07, 2020.
