  • Overview

Are you color confused? Come learn why red + blue does not equal purple in weaving! For this beginner's course on color interaction, weavers will create a color gamp to discover the ins and outs of color in weaving. The gamp can become either a set of four napkins or a pair of small hand-towels once off the loom. The first class will be winding a warp and a review of getting a loom dressed. Each 2 ½ hour class will have hands-on instruction or demonstration, a brief lecture and weaving time. In order to complete the gamp, you will need to weave outside of class. All fiber materials are supplied in the class cost.
This class is appropriate for all weavers who have taken Weaving 101 or its equivalent - newer weavers welcome. It's never too soon to learn more about color!
Table looms are available for rent from Tabby Tree to facilitate weaving both in studio and at home. ($50/week).
