  • Overview

Michael Janosky, 2018 Indiana Dunes National Park Artist-in-Residence, will paint a landscape while he talks about his approach and his art.  He has said, "My subject, palette, sense of color and brush work are among the attributes which distinguish my work. My paintings are vibrant and high-chroma and I utilize brushwork that remains visible to render the elements of the landscape. I work in a representational style and find beauty in the subtle and often simple aspects of our natural environments.”

Michael has been named an Indiana Artisan, is a member of the Indiana Artists Club, Oil Painters of America and Hoosier Salon and is Resident Studio Artist at Nickel Plate Arts.
