Overview
Formed in 1967, the Academy Chamber Ensemble draws its membership from the world-renowned London-based chamber orchestra the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. The Chamber Ensemble performs larger-scale chamber music repertoire under the direction of Academy Director Tomo Keller, with regular tours of Europe and North America and more than 30 album projects for the Philips Classics, Hyperion and Chandos labels. This performance features a mixed octet of winds and strings performing a program of Nielsen, Dvořák and Beethoven.
