Early radio was an exciting time for Americans listening from their homes, as they were exposed to so many different styles and genres of music, often on the same station, within the same hour. Join Lara Lynn and the Kid to celebrate this diversity of popular music through the decades.

About the Presenters

Lara Lynn & the Kid, aka Lara Lynn Weaver and Kevin "Kid Kazooey" MacDowell, hail from Bloomington, Indiana. There they toil by day, respectively, as a social worker for CASA and as a music educator to children and adults. But when the weekends come around, they entertain their community with klezmer, polka, pirate music, Hoagy Carmichael and other eccentric musical mixes.
