Center Presents: The Black Market Trust

Led by guitarist-vocalist Jeffrey Scott Radaich, the Black Market Trust is an American pop/vocal jazz quintet that combines the sounds of the great American crooners and vocal groups with the romantic Eastern European gypsy fire of jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. After a self-titled all-instrumental 2012 debut that has become a milestone in the gypsy jazz genre, the Los Angeles-based group began adding lead vocals and harmonies inspired by such artists as the Mills Brothers and the Beach Boys. Their sophomore album, simply titled II, spawned a Top 10 Adult Contemporary hit with an interpretation of the classic “Route 66.”
