Each month, Nickel Plate Arts presents a showcase of artwork by a local artist or art group inside our Stephenson House Gallery. The exhibit is open to the public during regular business hours, Wednesday - Friday from noon - 5pm and Saturday from 10am - 5pm.
For the month of July, we are excited to welcome back local artist James Anderson. A three-time Artist Showcase veteran, James is skilled in applying his own perspective to the craft of photography, and his “Canyonlands: The Needles” exhibit will inspire wanderlust in travel lovers and arts aficionados alike. Anderson will exhibit photography from his 2016 travels to Canyonlands National Park in which he and his wife Linda spent 3 weeks in the Utah expanse, snapping photos and exploring, in his words, “the sheer beauty of it all.” Many of the high-resolution photos on canvas will be for sale.
Nickel Plate Arts will host an exhibit reception on Friday, July 6 from 6-9pm as part of our monthly First Friday programming. Outside of the reception, the exhibit will be viewable to the public during normal gallery hours, Wed - Fri noon - 5pm and Sat 10am - 5pm.
