NPArts Showcase: Ailithir O. McGill’s The Owl and The Pussycat Went to Sea AND Linda Cordial
Each month, Nickel Plate Arts presents a showcase of artwork by a local artist or art group inside our Stephenson House Gallery. The exhibit is open to the public during regular business hours, Wednesday - Friday from noon - 5pm and Saturday from 10am - 5pm. For the month of April, we will feature the work of our very own director, Ailithir O. McGill. McGill launched a project exactly one year ago to illustrate and publish her own children’s book called The Owl and the Pussycat Went to Sea. This year’s exhibit will feature the book - hot off the presses - and will demonstrate how the art for the book was made, from sketch to finished digital files! Books, original art, prints, note cards, stickers and more will be for sale. Nickel Plate Arts will host an exhibit reception on Saturday, April 28th from 10am - 2pm and the public is welcome to attend and join in the excitement.
Extra Bonus: Included in the Stephenson Gallery will be a special small exhibit of artwork made by local artist Linda Cordial!
