Like other major cities, there have been postponed events and meetings in Hamilton County, while temporarily closing restaurants, bars, and attractions—all to help keep residents and visitors safe and healthy.
Scouts are invited to join us for hands-on environmental education activities. Registration is required by Friday, April 24. Your evening will rotate among five activities with approximately 30 minutes per activity. Activities include: Take Action (spend some time learning about ways to protect the environment and even engage in a short service project), Outdoor Skill (spend some time learning and practicing a valuable outdoor skill), Outdoor Games (engage with fellow scouts in some fun activities), Time around the Campfire (bring supplies for your own dinner. You may pack dinner or we welcome you to bring hot dogs or similar foods to prepare over the campfire. We will provide roasting sticks), and a Nature Hike. The Scout Leader registers for this event under their name and simply selects the quantity of scouts they are bringing. The price is $6 per scout. This event is available to both boy and girl scouts ages 5 - 11 years old (Kindergarten - 5th Grade). Tag alongs are not permitted for this event. Any child who attends must register and pay as a scout. Each scout must have an adult that will chaperone them. One adult is permitted to chaperone up to 6 scouts. There is no charge for the adult chaperones.
