    Enjoy a reception for the Fishers Arts Council's June 2020 exhibit, The Art of Michael Janosky.

    Come see local artist Michael Janosky's exhibit of paintings this month. Michael Janosky is a Resident Studio Artist at Nickel Plate Arts and a juried artist member of Oil Painters of America, which is dedicated to preserving and promoting excellence in representational art. In 2015, Michael’s work was juried into the Hoosier Salon Annual Exhibition and he was accepted into Indiana Artists (formerly the Indiana Artists Club). Juried into Indiana Artisan in 2014, his oil on canvas paintings are recognized among the highest-quality in the state. Michael was honored to be a featured guest artist at the 2013 Indiana Arts Commission Governor’s Arts Awards Dinner. Primarily self-taught, he has studied Art History and Art Appreciation at Purdue University, West Lafayette along with Oil Painting and Photography at the Northern Indiana Artists Association in Munster. Working in oils, Michael enjoys rendering the Indiana landscape as well as Lake Michigan and its beaches and dunes. Michael is active in promoting the arts and has served on the Hamilton County Artists’ Association Board of Directors and on the Noblesville Arts Council. In addition to his studio, his work is available at the Hoosier Salon Gallery and the Indiana Artisan Store in the Carmel Arts & Design District and is exhibited at galleries and museums throughout the state.
