Join us in downtown Westfield to kick off the Holiday season! Westfield in Lights will feature Pictures with Santa, Frosty the Snowman, Vendors, Live Music & Performances, Caricature Artists, and more!
Pictures with Santa will operate on a timed reservation system. Participants will need to reserve their time on westfieldwelcome.com and are then able to purchase their photos upon arrival for $5 per photo. For those unable to attend the full event on Saturday, Pictures with Santa will also be available on Friday, December 3rd from 5-7pm. Both sessions will be located inside Christ United Methodist Church (318 N. Union Street). Attendees will have the chance to vote for their favorite gingerbread house hosted by the Girl Scouts of JoSheWe during the event.
A number of activities will take place in the Westfield City Hall parking lot (130 Penn Street) including free carnival games, caricature artists, food vendors, retail merchants, live reindeer and llamas and Frosty the Snowman. The Westfield Playhouse (220 N. Union) joins the celebration with “Santa’s Workshop”, a craft-making area, and the Playhouse porch will come alive with performances from several Playhouse members. Westfield Friends Church will host a live nativity scene from 4-7pm at Hadley Park, on the corner of State Road 32 and Union Street. The event culminates with the traditional Tree Lighting Celebration beginning at 6:55pm on the main stage. Mayor Cook will officially light the tree at 7pm, which signifies the kickoff to the holiday season in Westfield.
