When spring arrives, native wildflower communities are the crowning jewel of forest habitats. Join us for a walk to explore our woodlands and see the first plants to greet us in the spring. These plants, called spring ephemerals, pop out of the ground early to take advantage of the sunlight as they emerge from winter.
