2015 Hamilton County Dining Guide

Experience what makes Hamilton County, Indiana dining experiences so great! Tenderloin Trail, great seasonal farmers markets, local brews, and of course delicious restaurants that foodies savor. Plus, there are so many sweet treats from local bakeries that can't be passed up!

Here, we grow food - and talent - close to home. From flaky pie crust to meaty craft burgers, our bakers and chefs are creating edible memories in the heart of Hamilton County. Meet just a few of our (local) all-star cast:

Craig Baker - The Local

Local food purveyor and extraordinaire Craig Baker opened his "baby", The Local Eatery and Pub, in 2011. As the name suggests, the menu is overflowing with foods grown and raised by nearby farmers. Feast on lamb burgers topped with feta basil mousse, roasted beet salads doused with tangy apple vinaigrette and creamy white cheddar mac and cheese.

Courtney's Kitchen

Cass and Carrie Courtney are the brother/sister duo is at the helm of Courtney's Kitchen, a relaxed home-cooking restaurant where "simple sustenance" is their motto. Look for nostalgic favorites like meat loaf, chicken and dumplings and patty melts with a side of impossibly friendly service and charm.

Brett - 10 West

In addition to owning local markets and meat shops, Brett Morrow has opened his second restaurant (but first in Hamilton County), 10 West, in the heart of Cicero. The steakhouse has a balanced menu; forward-thinking enough to excite food adventurists, with enough time-tested classics to satisfy steakhouse purists.

Rider's - divvy & Woody's

Kevin and Richelle Rider have attained restaurant royalty status and delight local taste buds with fresh, relevant, innovative dishes. Woodys Library Restaurant, a converted library space nestled in downtown Carmel, serves a classic pub-style menu. At divvy guests enjoy an American twist on the small plate/tapas approach to dining.

Ed - Sahm's

Ed Sahm is the culinary force behind Sahm's Restaurant. His flagship location in Fishers opened in 1986 with the simple goal of serving scratch-made fare to the neighborhood. His approach has birthed a slew of eateries with slightly different menus but similar mantras, from breakfast spots to bar and grills.

As you can see, when you visit Hamilton County, Indiana, you won't leave hungry!
