Ruoff Music Center is proud to support various 501c nonprofit organizations whose dedication to community outreach fits their company ethos. NPOs must organize groups of workers for the scheduled for shift(s). Volunteers are paid the same rates as workers, but the proceeds go directly to the 501c nonprofit organization.

Hamilton County Bicentennial Committee Seeking Lead Volunteers


These are year-long volunteer opportunities that will oversee and coordinate other volunteers. Therefore, each position requires a highly organized and motivated individual with a focus on communication. Volunteers must be willing to learn or be familiar with the Sign Up Genius website. 1. Traveling Exhibit Lead (needed March - October)

HCB has an exhibit that will travel to 27 places in Hamilton County across 35 weeks of 2023. Assistance is needed with logistics and volunteer management.

Duties include:

  • Reach out to provided volunteer list and ask for volunteers to sign up for scheduled shifts via provided Sign Up Genius link.
  • Each volunteer must sign a waiver. Oversee this process and keep records of each waiver.
  • Follow up with each provided organization to finalize exhibit plans and make sure exhibit was delivered.
     

2. Events Volunteer Lead (needed March – December)

HCB will host 45+ events throughout 2023. Assistance is needed with volunteer sign-up.

Duties include:

  • Reach out to provided volunteer list and coordinate volunteer sign up for scheduled shifts via provided Sign Up Genius link.
  • Each volunteer must sign a waiver. Oversee this process and keep records of each waiver. 
     

3. Festivals and Farmers Markets Lead (needed March - October)

HCB has an exhibit (including a tent, two exhibit panels, and brochures) that will travel to approximately 20 events and farmers markets in Hamilton County throughout 2023. Assistance is needed with booking farmers markets, finalizing festival plans, and volunteer sign-up.

Duties include:

  • Book Farmer Market events. A farmers market/festival list and contact information will be provided.
  • Follow up with each provided Festival to finalize plans, including working with Bicentennial Coordinator to ensure any payment or other arrangements have been made.
  • Reach out to provided volunteer list and ask for volunteers to sign up for scheduled shifts via provided Sign Up Genius link.
  • Each volunteer must sign a waiver. Oversee this process and keep records of each waiver.
