Tabby Tree Weaver offers five different types of classes: multishift weaving, rigid heddle weaving, band weaving, spinning, and other fiber arts such as creating a needle felted blue bird. At these classes, you can choose to use and bring your own materials or borrow from the shop, but ultimately, you’ll walk away with new skills and a cozy creation.

 

A Sewing Studio

Got kids ages 7 and up who are eager to learn sewing? A Sewing Studio offers weekly 1-hour classes where new students can join at any time depending on space availability. Here, they learn basic sewing terminology, sewing machine skills, how to read a pattern and written sewing instructions, how to layout and cut a pattern, and assemble their project. They also offer Weekly Classes which begin in August and occur over the school year with sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
