For Immediate Release

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. – More than 30 Hamilton County non-profit organizations will share $95,000 in grants from Hamilton County Tourism’s 2024 Tourism Gives program. This program provides grants to tourism-related county-based organizations such as those that provide experiences in the arts, special events, festivals and history.

Hamilton County Tourism launched its Tourism Gives program in 2006 and has provided more than $15 million in grants and special project support since its inception.

“We want to support those nonprofits that provide unique experiences for both residents and visitors,” said Hamilton County Tourism President/CEO Brenda Myers. “They are one of the many reasons why our community is such a great place to live and visit.”

For the 2024 cycle, Hamilton County Tourism updated its guidelines for grants to match new initiatives around Inspire Hamilton County, an umbrella program that gives back to the community that warmly welcomes approximately 6 million visitors a year. Each grant is centered around one of the following areas: planet, prosperity, people or place.

“We are honored to be a recipient of the Tourism Gives grant program,” said Maria Rosenfeld, CEO and president of the Carmel Christkindlmarkt, which attracts nearly a half million visits each year. “As a nonprofit, we rely on grants like these to fund so much of what we do year over year, and we are grateful for the support we have from Hamilton County Tourism.”
