1. Ali'i Poke

Fishers, Indiana

This place made Yelp's national list of the 100 Best Places to Eat in the U.S. in 2019. The accolades speak for themselves.

Known for:

Poke - think of it as a sushi burrito bowl. Pick your base of rice or greens and add your choice of proteins, toppings and sauces, or select from the Signature Bowls.

Lunch and dinner daily.

2. 9th Street Bistro

Noblesville, Indiana

If you’re looking for a cozy spot for a nice meal, you must try 9th Street Bistro in Noblesville. This restaurant serves globally-inspired comfort food.

Known for:

Steak and frites, focaccia, chicken pot pie.

Dinner Wednesday - Saturday. Closed Sunday - Tuesday.

3. I Tre Mori

Fishers, Indiana

I Tre Mori is built with passion and serves unique, authentic Italian Napolitan pizza. The owners worked in the culinary industry in Europe before opening an authentic wood-fired pizzeria in Fishers. The top-notch wood oven comes from Italy.

Known for:

Pizza, bruschetta and tiramisu.

Open for:

Lunch and dinner Tuesday - Sunday. Closed Monday.

“The absolute best pizza in town. A true Italian pizza, just like they do it in Italy. Great atmosphere with the giant pizza oven when you walk in. 4. OMONI Fresh Fast Korean Grill

Carmel, Indiana

“Omoni” means “mother” in Korean, and this eatery pays homage to the owner’s mother. The fast-casual style restaurant tucked away in a strip mall on US-31 is perfect for the customer on the go looking for a fresh, healthy meal. Korean dishes feature garlic, soy sauce, green onions, fresh vegetables and other spices.

Known for:

Dolsot bibimbap, a fire-heated stone bowl with rice, meat or tofu, vegetables, a fried egg, sauces and seasonings. Choose your spice level.

Lunch and dinner Monday - Saturday. Closed Sunday.

5. No Label At The Table

Carmel, Indiana

No Label At The Table is a gluten and dairy-free food company in Carmel. They employ people on the autistic spectrum and provide job training skills.

Known for:

Nutter butter cookies, cookie dough cake, mini pies.

Open for:

10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday. 10 a.m.-4p.m. Saturday. 12 p.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Closed Monday.

6. Ben's BBQ Shack

Westfield, Indiana

Authentic BBQ comes from a lot of regions in America. Ben's BBQ Shack is mostly rooted in West Kentucky, Texas and West Tennessee. Each piece is smoked the old-fashioned way, just like they do down south.

Known for:

Ribs, pulled pork, brisket and bourbon buttermilk pie.

Open for:

12 p.m. until sold out (or 3 p.m.) Friday-Sunday.

7. Joe's Butcher Shop Fish Market & Provisions

Carmel, Indiana

The deli section of Joe's Butcher Shop offers fresh, made-to-order sandwiches.

Known for:

IPA braised beef sandwich, flank steak sandwich, Italian next door, debris po boy and BLT.

Open for:

11 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday. 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

8. Ohanalulu

Fishers, Indiana

You’ll know you’ve arrived at Ohanalulu, formerly Ohana, when you smell fresh donuts from the parking lot. This place was born out of love for the Hawaiian islands and all things sweet. 

Known for:

Create your own donuts (with custom frosting and toppings), ice cream, Dole whip, coffee.

Open for:

Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

“These donuts are AMAZING. The actual donut is super good, with the edges being almost crispy. You can choose just about any toppings you want too. What's also cool is if you have kids, you can go over and stand and watch them make the donuts for you. Inside is also nice and relaxed. 9. Bae Latin Food

Carmel, Indiana

Specializes in Latin bowls mix mostly Venezuelan, Mexican, Colombian, Peruvian and Argentinian dishes. Bae Latin is located in Carmel, just north of Prairie View Country Club at the corner of 146th Street and River Road.

Known for:

Arepas (gluten-free precooked cornmeal bolus) bombas (Latin Burgers), pepitos (sandwiches made with baguette bread), parrillas (grilled foods) and tacos.

Lunch and dinner Tuesday - Sunday. Closed Monday.

10. Yat's

A local New Orleans-style joint specializing in Cajun and Creole cuisine.

Known for:

Drunken chicken, maque choux, étouffée, jambalaya and gumbo.
