These places serve all your coffee classics, some with their own twists, and a perfect ambiance to gather with others.
We worked with our friends at Yelp Indy to brew up the top coffee shops in Hamilton County. Read on to see if your favorite made the list or it’s better latte than never to discover a new spot!
Methodology: This is a list of the top coffee spots in Hamilton County, Indiana, according to Yelp. We identified businesses in the coffee category on Yelp, then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews between Jan. 1, 2024, and Sept. 25, 2024. Businesses with more than five locations were omitted. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of Oct. 1, 2024.
1. Niyyah Coffee
8100 E. 106th St., Fishers
Niyyah means “intention” in Arabic and this coffee spot intends to create a warm and welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds. Pair a good conversation with one of their popular coffee drinks such as their Brown Suga’ Shook or Cinnamon Roll Latte!
“My friend and I visited Niyyah mid morning on a Friday. We wanted a space to just sip on coffee and have a catch-up chat. Niyyah offers that and more. The space is clean and welcoming — perfect to meet a friend, work or even read a book.” – Yelper Rachael M.
2. MOTW Coffee and Pastries
8235 E. 116th St., Ste. 215, Fishers
MOTW’s origin story began with their Instagram page, “Muslims of the World.” Now, the MOTW coffee shops and beverages serve as a statement to their commitment of understanding and uniting their community. Not only does MOTW shine light on Muslim individuals’ stories, but their coffee shops brings people together with flavored lattes like Rosemary Honey and Biscoff and pastries such as baklava and burma.

3. Yafa Golden Coffee
14160 Mundy Dr., Ste. 100, Noblesville
This coffee shop brings the spirit and tradition of Yemen through Yemini coffee. They capture Yafa’s finest beans to bring flavorful coffee from farm to cup. Don’t forget to try one of their artisan pastry and bakery items such as their honeycomb Yemeni pastry or Dubai chocolate bar!
“I've been to Yafa a handful of times now and they are the absolute best! This area of Fishers/Noblesville was lacking an amazing coffee (and matcha) spot. Their drinks are all delicious and their bakery items, especially the Biscoff Cheesecake, are 10/10. 4. Geist Coffee Company

This family-owned coffee house “make coffee, change lives” through their high-quality espresso, coffee, pastries and sandwiches. It makes the perfect spot to gather with others and enjoy items such as their Flying Pig sandwich or cranberry muffin!
“I've always enjoyed coming to Geist Coffee ever since one of my friends suggested we try it. It has a very homey feel, which is expected from a family-owned business. The seasonal drinks are always very great creations. I personally love the blackberry white mocha latte from the summer seasonal drinks and I also recommend the house specialty naranja blanco which has a little kick to it (cayenne)!” – Yelper Ana C.
5. The Well Coffeehouse

This missional coffeehouse turns profit into hope. With every purchase made such as Blackberry Lavendar Cuban iced coffee, hot chocolate, or peppermint mocha, 100% of their profits go toward digging clean water wells in third wheel countries.
“A good place to meet people or get a good coffee! The Cuban is my favorite as its a nice mix of bitter and sweet. I saw some gluten free muffins on the top shelf of their small counter display that looked good! 6. Sunny Day Cafe

Not only does this place serve a delicious array of breakfast classics including those with innovative twists to spice up your morning, but they also have delicious, handcrafted beverages.

7. Noble Coffee & Tea

Located in the historic Noblesville square, this coffee shop offers delicious drinks such as their iced caramel macchiato and honey lavender latte. You can also purchase their roasted coffee beans and enjoy their coffee from home!
“I’m going to say it....you will find the best chai tea latte in the state here!!! It's THAT good. I love this little cozy coffee shop in Noblesville, it's the perfect place to meet friends, work or relax! 9. Dark Side Coffee House
110 W. Jackson St., Cicero
Coffee shop owners, Matt and Vanessa, shared their love for coffee over their first date at a coffee shop over 15 years ago. Now, they offer coffee beans that can be freshly roasted at home and run a coffee shop in the heart of Cicero.

10. Rad’s
4733 E. 126th St., Carmel
Named after the owners’ grandfather, WWII veteran Rad Bailey, this place serves top-notch quality with their chef-driven classic brunch fare. Be sure to check out their avocado toast and Challah French toast!
“Rad's is our favorite breakfast spot. It is a small spot, which we love! The staff are helpful and kind. The setting is relaxed. Want to come in your sweats because you just woke up? Do it! I really like their self-service coffee station with the Snickerdoodle coffee . The one thing we love about Rad's is that they are consistent! 12. Smitten Kitten Cat Cafe
7852 E. 96th St., Fishers
With this place being Hamilton County’s first cat café, it makes the “purrfect” spot to relax and decompress with the adoptable cats and kittens and enjoy their wide selection of coffee, tea and chai.
“Love the cat cafe concept! So many cats up for adoption, and they lay out the rules of the room before anyone can enter. It was $10 for ½ hr. Definitely well worth it. The cafe side offers coffee drinks, pop and treats. I got a specialty latte and it was very good! Lots of parking out front, friendly staff and sweet cats.” – Yelper Kristina J.

If you’re roaming around downtown Carmel, this spot makes a great place to pop in for a quick pick-me-up whether it’s their coffee, sweets, and savories.
“Delish coffee! This walk-up coffee shop right next to Anthony’s Chophouse is perfect for downtown Carmel. There's dozens of coffee shops, but this one's backstory and the walk-up nature of it is perfect for stopping in for a quick drink while strolling downtown. I had an oat milk vanilla latte and it was perfectly sweet and creamy, yet still could taste the strong coffee flavor.” – Yelper Brooke H.

15. Eggshell Bistro

16. 1832 Brew Expresso Bar
111 W. Main St., Ste. 130, Carmel
This coffee spot started in the library of Wabash College and since 2009, they have provided a space where community members can meet and enjoy beverages at student-friendly prices. Now, they aim to be Carmel’s regular one-stop coffee shop with their high-quality coffee.
“The iced snickerdoodle is perfect if you don't like something too sweet or too bitter. If you're feeling something cozy - The 1874 if for you! It's very similar to a smores campfire & not overly sweet. If you need a boost of energy but aren't into coffee the Lotus Plant lemonade is for you. It's slightly tart, with the carbonation shocking your tastebuds!! Highly recommend if you in the area and wanting a fun pick me up!” – Yelper Tarina P.

“We had the sweetest experience at Zing! Cafe! The staff was so warm & personable. The owner even came out to ask about our food & checked on everyone else there as well. 18. Remnant Coffee Shop

This coffee spot is perfectly located in the heart of Arcadia and offers a full espresso bar along with locally sourced year-round treats. The dream of Remnant is “to LOVE our community unconditionally and to revitalize the beautiful town of Arcadia, Indiana” and they do this by using their profits to create events and service projects for the town.
“I live near this place. It's super cute inside and I love going there to do work, study, and they even have private rooms where I can do zoom meetings in a quiet place. “I am late to the game because I had no clue that American Dream had a full line of nut butters. They had some samples available, and so many unique flavor combinations.
