Celebrate a weekend of excitement and innovation at Indiana’s largest balloon festival. Conner Prairie's Jupiter Flights Balloon Festival takes place September 11-13, 2026, with more than 45 hot air balloons filling the skies for three days of launches, balloon glows, live entertainment and family fun.

Watch balloons fly through the sky and enjoy live music, bounce houses, concessions and more. Stay for the evening balloon glow, which illuminates the grounds of Conner Prairie.
Saturday, September 12 | 7-9:30 a.m. & 5-10 p.m.

Cheer on early morning balloon launches and pilot competitions, then explore carnival rides and family activities. That evening, watch a new set of balloons take flight before the grounds glow during the evening balloon show.

Cheer for your favorite balloon as pilots fill the sky in exciting competitions, and a champion will be announced after the final race.
New this year: Conner Prairie's Museum Experience Center and grounds will open at 9:30 a.m. following Saturday and Sunday morning events, so guests can stick around and explore after the launches.

Looking for more to do around Conner Prairie and Fishers? Besides exploring the massive museum grounds, check out the Fishers District! Grab a drink at Sun King Fishers and enjoy the open green spaces the area has to offer. Find your favorite restaurants and shops all within walking distance of each other. Stop by Topgolf and play some of the many games they offer; regardless of your golf skill, you'll still have a blast! Head to Pinheads for some bowling and arcade fun or go to K1 Speed and race your family and friends in a high-speed go-kart.

A short drive from Conner Prairie's grounds will take you to Nickel Plate District in downtown Fishers and Fishers District, both containing some of Hamilton County's best dining. Including 101 Craft Kitchen, Sangrita, Four Day Ray and Parks Place Pub. And, don't forget to stop by the Conner Prairie's own Apple Store for some of the best hand-dipped caramel apples and other treats.

When your ready to rest your head, there are several conveniently located hotels. Prairie Guest House is just across the street from Conner Prairie. Hyatt Place Indianapolis/Fishers and Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis/Fishers located in Fishers District.
