Celebrating 40 years of thrills and chills, the Headless Horseman Festival at Conner Prairie in Fishers, Indiana is a popular fall tradition for many families. Read below to learn more about Headless Horseman.

When is Headless Horseman 2024?

For 2024, the Headless Horseman Festival at Conner Prairie is Thursday - Sunday, Oct. 3 - 27 from 5 -10 p.m. each night.

How much does it cost to attend?

Tickets go on sale to the general public Sept. 7.

Tickets may be purchased in advance online and are only valid for the date of the event purchased. It is strongly encouraged to buy tickets in advance to reserve a hayride time.

All guests and members ages 2 and older require a ticket.

For non-members, admission is $26. All members have access to free tickets. Hayride tickets are $10 per person.

Parking is free on-site.

What are the activities at Headless Horseman?

Conner Prairie transforms into Conner Scairie! Families can enjoy the classic haunted wagon ride through the Conner Prairie grounds. There is also a barrel train ride, tubing hill, apple spin ride, midway games, spooky shows, magic tricksand fortune telling.

Don't miss the 11-acre corn maze, included in Headless Horseman admission, which features three paths: a kids' maze for younger guests, a puzzle maze that's perfect for families, and a haunted maze inspired by ghost stories from the region.

The 1859 Balloon Voyage will fly, weather permitting. Balloon passes are an additional cost.

Enter the scarecrow building contest. All entries will be displayed at the Headless Horseman festival, where visitors can vote on the top three.

Food and beverage is available on-site.

ASL interpreters will be available Oct. 19 and 24.
