Hamilton County is one of the fastest growing counties in Indiana, based on Census Bureau data. With that population growth comes a crop of new businesses and restaurants opening up shop in Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Westfield and beyond. We sat down with five local business owners to see why they chose to place their business roots in Hamilton County.

“We live in Westfield. I met my wife Melanie here, and there was nothing like it at the time. We took the risk to bring new business to the town with Cone + Crumb. The people in Westfield are ready for something new and different.
Locals are so fiercely loyal to independent restaurants that it made perfect sense. Cone + Crumb hasn’t been open for even two weeks and we already have people coming in for their fourth, fifth, and sixth times!

“All four of our owners are Hamilton County residents and we saw a huge opportunity to bring locally roasted, freshly made coffee to Carmel. We love how focused the Arts & Design District is on community, art and local business and we knew we wanted to be a part of that. Fishers has a vision to create a sense of place and be a world-class municipal area and great place to live. Our brewery is family-friendly and we want to include everyone."
