Hamilton County’s most anticipated season is here—Tenderloin Tuesdays, and it’s back better than ever to celebrate its “sweet” 16th anniversary! Though over 50 restaurants are participating, we can assure that the Tenderloin Trail will not be repetitive. Not only can you find your traditional tenderloin sandwiches, but some restaurants have taken a unique twist to this Hoosier classic. Check the list below and add them to one of your Tuesday meals from June 24 to July 29!

Born and Breaded…Breakfast

At Rosie’s Place, in Carmel or Noblesville, their Pork Tenderloin Benny is a spin-off of the classic eggs benedict. It’s a biscuit split in half topped with hand-breaded tenderloins, two poached eggs, cheddar cheese and sausage gravy. And you can’t forget country potatoes on the side. The Roost also adds some flair to the typical benefit by topping off their homemade biscuit with a fried tenderloin, a poached egg and sausage gravy with fresh fruit and your choice of a breakfast side.

Dress to Impress: Tenderloin Edition

While these tenderloins may not come out in its true tenderloin form on the plate, they are definitely still filled with that Hoosier pride. At Woodys Library Restaurant, order a blackened pork tenderloin sandwich. When it’s served, you might think it’s burnt, but that’s actually where all the magic is. The dark crust is filled with flavor that will perfectly compliment the tender meat hidden inside.

After a round of golf, head to Pebble Brook Bar & Grill for their melt-in-your-mouth meal…literally. In their Tenderloin Melt, the breaded tenderloin is grilled on rye bread with grilled onion, American and Swiss cheese and thousand island sauce.

At Parks Place Pub, check out their Hoosier Horseshoe, a combination of Hoosier pride, garlic bread and cheese fries. It’s a hand-breaded pork tenderloin on Texas Toast and topped with a mound of fries and white cheddar cheese sauce. All the typical fixings such as lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion are served on the side to customize to your liking.

You can never go wrong with pizza and you definitely can’t go wrong with both pizza and a pork tenderloin! At Crafters Pizza and Drafthouse, get a pizza with tenderloin in it or the other way around with Swayzee Loinz tenderloin pizza where the tenderloin acts as the base for the pizza toppings. Both serve a one-of-a-kind flavor experience.

Vegan Tenderloins

Tenderloin Tuesdays is for everyone to enjoy, even for our vegan friends. Bar Ellis recreates the experience using a crispy, house made breaded seitan tenderloin on a toasted bun and topped with lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion. Upland Brewing Co., with locations in Carmel and Clay Terrace, also uses a seitan tenderloin in their “Seitan-derloin Sandwich,” but tops it off with chow chow, red onion and pickle chips.
